X-Dock, fast and secure
POST Luxembourg implemented the fast logistics process of receiving already packed orders through an inbound dock and then transferring them across to outbound transportation docks.
We provide a central site for products which are to be sorted. Afterwards, products are moved to the other end of the “cross dock” facility via forklift, conveyor belt, pallet truck or other means of transportation to their destined outbound dock.
When the outbound transportation has been loaded, the goods can make their way to customers. To create an easier delivery process to the customer, POST Luxembourg arranges “deconsolidations” meaning breaking down large product loads into smaller loads for transportation as well as “consolidations” being the opposite process.
